Testimonials
“I cannot speak highly enough of my experience being supervised by Sarah. Her passion and dedication to the LGBTQ+ community, specifically the trans and nonbinary community, was a genuine inspiration to me. Sarah’s expertise, insight and compassion for disparities and inequities experienced by the trans community still fuels my work today. Sarah is uniquely skilled on the process of providing and advocating for gender affirming care as well as training others on the process of offering gender affirming care as a part of their clinical practice. Sarah offered me thoughtful feedback and guidance as I learned the process and also offered a wealth of nuanced experience that allowed me to thrive. I feel very fortunate to have had her guidance and support.”

“Sarah is a true master of the entire clinical process, from mentorship and supervision to therapeutic practice. She deeply embodies how to lead with care, intention, and authenticity. I was influenced by her co-leadership style supporting partners of transgender adults at Fenway Health, and the ease with which she integrates theory and practice for a compassionate and present therapeutic style. She gently challenged clients towards their personal goals and connections with one another, and demonstrated what group leadership can be. It was a gift to work alongside her, and a rare opportunity to witness such a powerful clinician in the therapy room. As a trainee in 2018, I also experienced her as balanced in her rigorous support and challenging of me, helping me develop my own clinical perspective and voice in service of my community. Her training on writing gender affirming care letters transformed my practice, infusing clinical acumen with intentional care for the wellness of the trans community. Her style and expertise in this specialty are well represented in these presentations, and I have recommended them over and over again. As trans clinician working within my own community, I trust Sarah to foster the next generation of clinicians who can support appropriate, intentional, and skilled care for trans folks. Whether as an MSW student or consulting with seasoned professionals, I have witnessed Sarah bring her entire self and range of experience to this work, and am grateful that more clinicians and clients will engage with her wisdom!”
